Job Title:  Java Fullstack Developer

Location:  Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 12+ Months

 Experience Level: 7+ Years

Job Description:

General Skills

1. Software engineer with relevant experience in developing, packaging, configuring deploying, operating and maintaining microservices written in Java, in a cloud-native environment.
2. Good understanding of Micro services architecture and 12 factor apps
3. Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps processes and familiarity with wide range of devops tools
4. Expertise in Object Oriented Programming languages such as Java and familiarity with functional programming languages such as Scala.

 

Specific Skills

1. Extensive experience in designing, developing and deploying restful API’s in a Java-based ecosystem.
2. Experience running containerized applications in a cloud environment – preferably AWS and deploying applications in DC/OS and/or Kubernetes.
3. Expertise configuring DevOps pipelines for multiple environments in Jenkins or Bamboo

 

Nice To Have

1. Familiarity with developing Back-ends for front-ends (BFF) using NodeJS
2. Good understanding and familiarity with developing front-end applications using frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, Redux, Relay.
3. Experience in GraphQL is a plus.
