Job Duties
· You will be a strong JAVAdeveloper joining a bank’s derivatives middle office technology team. You will be working within an agile team, writing requirements and specifications, developing strategic reporting management and trading tools and maintaining existing code for the Tech.
· Primary task would be to help the bank design and enhance the strategic reporting system. Working with middle office & opsteams to understand requirements.
· Develop technical specifications, high level/detailed design, testing strategies, and implementation plans from business requirement
· As the successful applicant you will be responsible for supporting modern agile software development methods; including educating & mentoring less experienced OOP team members.
· Overall the work will be flexible based on client requirements.
Qualification:
Master in software engineering, additional qualification in Finance is desirable, FRM, CFA again desirable
Skills Required
· Excellent hands-on OOPs application development experience on core JAVA, JAVA 8 and above
· Strong understanding of integration tools like TIBCO/mulesoft is highly desirable
· Experience working with investment bank (preferably FO/MO systems, regulatory reporting platforms ) is desirable
· Understanding of Interest Rate, Credit and FX Derivatives Products
· Experience working on different analytical tools is desirable
· Experience on participating in end-to-end development lifecycle in a rigorous test driven software development environment
· Experience of Agile software development process is desirable
· Experience on developing and delivering scalable applications
· Excellent communication skills
