IT Program Manager

Long Term Contract / 12 months + extension

Location: 100% Remote

 

Responsibilities:

• Identify and manage day to day project dependencies and critical path.
• Capable of dividing overall program goals into sub projects while aligning the appropriate talent to each track
• Able to continually ask questions
• Can manage multiple dependencies across a larger number of stakeholders with opposite interests
• Core focus on integration (team, organization, technical, project, product)
• Subject matter experience of project scope and technical processes
• Accomplish strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities
• Meet financial objectives by preparing budgets, forecasting, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
• Promote productivity, collaboration, and quality by resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, advocating for improvements, and implementing change

 

Requirements:

• 9+ years’ experience working IT related projects
• Program Management and Supply Chain/Retail experience
• Able to manage 10+ Workstreams and 11 Project Managers
• Nimble in execution across both Waterfall/Agile Projects
• Quickly step into ongoing projects
• Define program success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout program life cycle.
• Proven ability to create presentations at team, leadership and executive levels and present verbally
• Demonstrated leadership abilities beyond just project administration
• Proven track record to manage project managers and their projects on time, on budget, to specification
• Experience in communicating effectively to all levels of the organization
• Experience with managing projects from inception to closing across multiple years

 

Desired:

• PMP
• Integration experience
• Agile/Scrum knowledge
