Position Title:    Software Engineer (MUST HAVE Node.js experience)
Location:            REMOTE
Start Date:         ASAP
Duration:           12 months
 
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
 
  1. AT LEAST 8 years for software development/engineering experience
  2. Healthcare experience a must
  3. Be able to work WITHOUT sponsorship (no H1B)
  4. MINIMUM 8-10 in communication
(if candidates do not meet these required experiences, do not submit them)
 
 
The focal point revolves around someone who is skilled and experienced with Node.js.
 
Notes from the hiring manager
·                  We’re looking for a good old citizen with Node python/JavaScript experience. 
·                  They build out API's and act as service center for the EHR product team when customizations need to be developed. 
·                  Manager is desperate to get someone asap said he will interview himself as his current employee last day is in three weeks and he wants to have some overlap for training...
·                  All remote, coming out of HC product company again is ideal.
 
 
Qualifications
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with modern programming languages and concepts
  • Collaborative architecture and system design skills
  • Demonstrated experience delivering customer value at a rapid pace, while maintaining a high level of software quality
  • Passion for software development processes and engineering culture
  • Proficiency with common development tools (e.g., Git, Jira, etc.) and processes (e.g., pair programming, QA, deployments)
  • Understanding of FHIR and/or HL7
  • Accountable for code quality and team standards being followed among junior engineers
 
Technical Skills
  • Experience with JavaScript, Node.JS, HTML/CSS and React, Terraform, SQL, OpenAPI, FHIR, JSON, XML
  • Working understanding of Ramda, Apache Beam
  • Experience with Instrumentation, analytics, and performance measurement
  • Experience with agile methodology is a plus (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.)
  • Experience with AWS or GCP a plus
  • Experience with MS SQL Server and MySQL is a plus
 
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or related practical experience.
  • M.S. in Computer Science or similar technical field of study(preferred)
