Lead Oracle Application Developer with SQL, healthcare application development exp.
Long term contract with the possibility of conversion down the road

Looking for and key thing is not so much Oracle – but SQL – and that they have experience supporting customer-facing applications that include real-time and batch processes, where end users actually log into portal or some 3rd party application and are completing some business process , like entering orders etc and then business process does something with that data they enter.
This person is not only leading teams but they also need someone that can lead projects and being a liaison between IT and the business.
Someone that can take a project plan and task it out with the team.
This person must come from a complex technical environment.
Need someone that can lead vendor calls and be able to push back when needed.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with courses in programming and database systems
2+ years experience supporting healthcare applications.
5+ years experience programming and report-writing in an Oracle environment
2+ years experience leading technical project teams
Preferred
9+ years experience supporting healthcare applications
7+ years experience programming and report-writing in an Oracle environment
4+ years experience leading technical project teams
Technical Skills
Expert knowledge in applications programming methodologies, and Tool Control Language (TCL scripting language - required for EXL applications only);
Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel;
Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) in an Oracle environment and Client vendor-supplied application development tools;
Functional expertise in assigned application
Working Conditions
Standard office environment, with weekend or nighttime work to implement changes when users are off the system.
Extensive computer work with prolonged sitting
Department of Defense security clearance required
