Role: SQL/SSIS Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC(Remote)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Summary:
SSIS SQL Developer will build reports, turning complex functional specs into technical specs. SSIS SQL Developer will help create tables, views, and stored procedures for the creation of SQL reports. Will also be responsible for ETL development.

- Develop new SQL reports using SSIS
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues related to existing reporting
- Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend and implement process improvements
- Assist with creating reporting models, architectures, frameworks, and strategies based on business requirements
- Develop technical solutions to support and streamline data reporting requests
- Contribute to the development lifecycle including gathering and understand of requirements, database and report development using SQL Server Business Intelligence Development tools
- Work with Business Analysts and functional teams to identify reporting needs and solutions
- Work with other teams to understand business rules and interpret data
- An understanding and experience with full life cycle management of relational databases in an enterprise environment
- Assess the impact of database changes on system performance by effectively working with software development teams
- Select tools and methodologies for projects
- Develop modifications to jobs and schedules for jobs in production
- Lead and perform off-hours support as needed, and required to participate in weekly/monthly Release
Required Education, Experience and Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- 9-10+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL development including SSIS (2016 and newer versions), and ETL
- Experience with reporting models, table functions, and stored procedures
- Strong SQL query capabilities
- Experience working with data warehousing concepts, terminology and architecture
- Strong analytical, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of building dashboard, scorecards, and KPIs
- Exposure to agile development methodology
- Ability to Prioritize and multitask
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or similar degree, or equivalent work experience
Preferred (but not required) education or skills for this role are
- MCSA preferred
- Reporting using SAP Business Objects
- Working with Azure cloud technologies
