About the Role
We are looking for an IT compliance professional to support audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
We need a hands-on IT SOX Compliance Analyst who will work closely with all the project's stakeholders, be it Biz teams, IT Leadership Team, Application track managers, and leads.
Responsible for
Responsible for identifying and documenting segregation of duties (SOD)/ IT application controls and IT General controls for financial applications Netsuite & Coupa)
Participate in the planning, scoping, risk assessment, execution, documentation, and confirming all IT General Control and IT Application Control testing
related to SOX Perform and document user access reviews to deliver to auditors for SOX testing.
Coordinate SOX-related activities between the SOX internal auditor, our outside SOX advisors, IT and the external auditors Identify mitigating controls and procedures to effectively mitigate deficiencies
Providing timely summaries and reports to the IT leadership teams Assist management with remediation plan development, execution, tracking and support for control owners
Lead end to end walkthroughs to identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities
Skills and requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any relevant field.
Five (5) plus years of experience with SOX compliance, SOD and ITGC controls.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation or reporting skills)
Work with both onsite and offshore (India) teams and Work in PST hoursa
Experience in IT audit or compliance function related to ERP finance systems.
NetSuite, Coupa experience is a plus
Familiarity with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
