Senior Cloud Project Manager (prefer AWS migration but open to Azure or GCP)
6-12+ Month Contract to Hire
*Hybrid onsite/remote (2 days onsite in NYC / 3 days remote)
Note: Resource will be directly working on Prime vendor W2
Will support a dynamic infrastructure technology organization to drive the firm's continued IT transformation with specific focus on DevOps/CICD and Cloud hosting adoption and cloud migrations.
- Financial services / asset management experience highly preferred / will hire someone without it if strong personality and skills.
They are migrating to AWS.
The position requires a strong foundation in both Technology Infrastructure and Project Management.
What do you need to have?
1. Familiarity with Cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
2. Experience as a PM on cloud migrations and cloud builds
3. 8-10+ years managing full life-cycle technical projects or programs of a large and complex scale in a related industry
4. Experience managing infrastructure projects
5. Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD concepts
6. Agile project methodology
7. Someone who can function highly in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing priorities
8. Financial services or regulated industry experience is ideal
