oThis role is focused on end-to-end Cloud Native Application Development with Python. This is not a Data Engineering Role.
oAt Client, while we have dedicated Devops and Cloud teams, their purpose is to provide shared services and best practices for teams to be self-sufficient. This means that in additional to being able to write robust application logic, developers are also responsible for deploying their own cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as code, as well as maintaining their CI/CD pipelines and making updates as required.
oThe ideal candidate can excel in these areas.
· Tech
oAt least 7 years of experience in Python programming including application service development.
oAbility to design and build serverless and stateful systems on AWS, that are scalable and highly available.
oAt least 5 years of AWS experience with a variety of services, in priority order but not limited to:
§ Lambda, ECS, S3, Dynamo DB, API gateway, SQS, IAM, Security Groups.
oExperience with Infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
oExperience configuring and deploying CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab.
oExperience with microservice development patterns.
oExperience working in an agile environment.
oAI/ML experience/certification is a plus.
oExperience with Apigee is a plus.
