Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled networking contractor with at least 5 years of experience in managing and configuring a global WAN environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Juniper SRXs, Aruba switches, Aruba Airwave, and ClearPass. In-depth knowledge of OSPF and BGP protocols is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and configure a global WAN environment.
- Deploy and maintain Juniper SRX firewalls.
- Configure and optimize Aruba switches.
- Utilize Aruba Airwave for network management and monitoring.
- Implement and manage ClearPass for network access control.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
- Ensure network security and performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet networking needs.
- Provide documentation and training to internal staff as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing and configuring Juniper SRX firewalls.
- Extensive experience with Aruba switches, Aruba Airwave, and ClearPass.
- In-depth knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
- Strong understanding of network security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as JNCIP-ENT, JNCIP-SEC, ACMP, ACCP, or similar.
- Experience with other networking equipment and technologies.
- Previous experience working in a large-scale, global network environment.
- Optional: Experience with Cloudflare Magic WAN.
