Broadcom Software Engineer
Location: Remote || W2 or 1099 || C2C will work only if candidates who could convert permanent
Duration: 6 Month Contract with high likelihood of extension
The Performance Site Reliability Engineer will work with all areas of IT, Software development, testing, engineering, infrastructure, Mobile, web, projects, enhancements, Maintenance, IT Event management, continuous improvements. They will work through the full project lifecycle for Monitoring and event management solutions. They will estimate, design, build, test, support Broadcom SaaS APM Monitoring solutions. It is a creative role working with the teams to understand the best possible Monitoring solutions for the technology. Creating the End-to-end transaction visibility and Dashboard(S) creation for every level: CIO to Developer. They will work with internal customers and Vendors to achieve the optimal monitoring solution. As they advance, they will cross train on the tools diagnostics functions.
Responsibilities:
- Creating end-to-end business transaction visibility and monitoring that allows them to understand it from a technical perspective
- Supply chain is the focus and they have to stitch these things together
- Currently using Broadcom tools (APM, UIM, ASM, Readily)
- Needs to have Broadcom SASS version of APM and UIM
- Senior level skills that know what they are doing (at least 3 years with Broadcom SASS tool)
- Can come in and hit the ground running
- Understand infrastructure because they work with so many technologies
- Understand screen design
- A combination of designing and making recommendations on things
- Understanding measuring, thresholds, etc.
- Will create multiple dashboards for the organization and will need to train on the dashboards
Required Tool skillsets include:
- Broadcom Spectrum
- Broadcom SaaS Application Performance Management
- Broadcom Application Synthetic Monitoring
- Broadcom UIM
