Role: Java Developer with MongoDB/Redis, Kafka Client Configuration Exp.
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: Long Term Contract
• 8 + years of Java / Java EE coding and good in Java/J2ee fundamental concepts and design principles.
• Maintain and configure Redis / MongoDB instances
• Keep clear documentation of the database setup and architecture
• Ensure that the databases achieve maximum performance and availability
• Design indexing strategies
• Configure, monitor, and deploy replica sets
• Create roles and users and set their permissions
• Kafka Client Configuration is required.
• Design the process to read Kafka messages; Based on batch size and Drolls response time
• Analysis of requirements and development software as per project defined software processes.
• Understanding design documents and developing application code with quality within schedule and estimated efforts.
• Deliver quality code, on time for the requirements they are working on.
• Provide the support to business teams for performing User Acceptance testing and help the support functions to deploy the code to production
• Ability to work in agile environment
• Monitoring overall progress and use of resources in the stream, monitor the quality of deliverables from the team working in the stream
• Ability to work in agile environment
• Making sure right Unit test coverage and regression is done to minimize any quality issues in delivery
• Making sure Code is reviewed, documents are reviewed
• Responsible for Onsite – offshore coordination for the stream of work "
