Role: Full Stack Software Developer

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Day-One Onsite role)

Type: Contract-to-hire

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience. 
• Minimum 5 years full stack development experience and implementing software applications
• Experience developing software utilizing various coding languages including Java, C++, C#, Typescript or equivalent 
• Experience design and developing with backend DBs such as SQL Server, DynamoDB or any other Cloud RDS
• Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, using Angular, PWA
• Ability to deliver within a DevOps delivery model from requirements analysis, design, development, test, CI/CD, security implementation, and operational excellence
• Having Mobile app development experience will be added advantage
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle
• Proficient at debugging code and testing
• Having development experience in public cloud-based applications will be an added advantage
• Professional experience using open-source technology or proprietary technologies.
• Experience building/developing applications using Agile methodology.
• Experience developing secure software systems based upon industry specifications
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills are essential
• Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both technical and business
• Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
• Analyze code for weaknesses and errors, and present detailed plans to improve them

 

Desired Qualifications (& Skills)

• Ability to Identify requirements from Business users and translate to optimal design recommendation
• Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements, preparing a work
• flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
• Confirms program operation by conducting tests
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the company to obtain, analyze, and discuss business processes and solutions
• Organized and disciplined in administering a diversified environment, including documentation and communication of planned events and activities. 
•  Excellent technical problem-solving skills, be very organized, have good project management and communication (oral and written) skills.  
• Experience in a team environment with demonstrated progression of skill development. 
• Excellent communication/customer interface skills 
•  Strong writing skills for creating technical documentation pertaining to application development and enhancements. 
• Work with IT groups to ensure production support issues receive proper application of technical expertise.  
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional. publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 
• Perform root cause analysis on critical or recurring application issues. 
• Assist in cross-training within the department Off hours support issues and implementation tasks.
• A proven track record of results with a bias for action
• A passion for learning and a craving to work in a fun culture
