 Work:            100% Remote (MUST Live in the State of Texas)

 Type:              Long Term Contract (6-12 Months)

 Status:           Prefer GC or USC

Database Architect / ETL Developer

Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) requires the services of two (2) Database Architects   TWC is developing a data warehouse solution and requires a Data Warehouse Architect – senior ETL developer with proven data warehouse experience to:

  • Design, develop, and test ETL processes for the data warehouse.
  • Develop and document ETL processes to extract data from existing systems into the data warehouse.
  • Document the “as-is” schemas currently in use at TWC.
  • Perform other analysis and documentation tasks as required to facilitate and support TWC’s Enterprise Data Warehouse.

 

Minimum Requirements:

Skills/Experience

Hands-on experience with data warehouse development (relational and dimensional) and proven evidence to implement using databases like Oracle, SQL Server etc., preferably Oracle.

Experience with Oracle PL/SQL.

6 - 8

Hands on experience with data modeling preferably in a data warehouse environment.

Experience with Informatica product suite in the Informatica cloud.

Strong

Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.

Strong

Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels.

Strong

Technical writing skills.

More than one type of RDBMS (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle).

Experience in Public Sector delivery.

Experience writing dynamic SQL.
