Job description

Duties/Responsibilities:

·  Works as a member of a cross-functional team, with focus on Data Platforms and Governance. Creates and maintains documentation describing Data and Metadata flows, processes, procedures, and policies.

·  Writes and edits technical documents including flow diagrams, reference manuals and product manuals.

·  Able to extract information from interviews, technical documents, test data, and hands-on work, and convert it to the appropriate level for the intended audience.

·  Able to identify and document Data Quality and Integrity issues

·  Able to identify and reconcile contradictory information.

·  Works closely with subject matter experts, engineers, developers, and product marketing team.

·  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·  Basic understanding of SQL, Data and Databases

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·  Ability to present complex information with concision, verbally and graphically

·  Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

·  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

·  Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

·  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

·  Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies

Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field required

·  Three years of related experience required

·  Plusses: Alation and SalesForce Experience/Knowledge
