POSITION: Android Audio Developer
LOCATION: Novi, MI
DURATION: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
Android Audio Developer: Java framework
Expected to know:
Should have good working knowledge of GIT
Extremely Proficient in Java programming language
Good knowledge of Android and its IPC like Binders, AIDL, thread priorities, permission model,
CTS, CDD etc.
Android Audio and/or Android Media System
Audio concepts like PCM data, Bitrate, multi-channel audio
Usage of Android tools like dumpsys etc. for debugging Audio problems
Unit, functional and integration testing on Android
Good to know:
Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or be from Automotive background
SAFe Agile methodology
Usage of tools like Audacity and/or Adobe Audition and/or Audio Precision
Responsibility:
Android porting
Development/Extension/Modification of Audio/Media Java framework layer components.
Close cooperation with other leaders and projects managers
Resolve complex technical issues
Developing and executing test cases
Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
B.E. in Electronics, Computers or similar
6 - 8 years of overall experience
Experience in Automotive domain will be preferred
