Job Title: Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Atlanta, GA (Initially Remote)

Duration: Long Term Contract

 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

·         Overall 10 Years and 6+ years of experience in Coding, DevOps, IaC and SRE

·         Well-verse with OOP concepts and design patterns

·         Expertise in at least 2 tools and good understanding/working knowledge on others i.e. Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Jenkins, Istio, Apigee, VPC automation, GKE, Compute Engine and associated common GCP technologies

·         Capacity forecasting, sizing, performance, and load testing

·         Exposure to Observability tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Stack driver, Splunk, etc.)

·         Exposure to standardized Change and Release Management practices

·         Complicated enterprise application architectures (N-Tier, Service Oriented Architecture)Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline

·         Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, .NET, Ruby, and JavaScript

·         Experience with distributed storage technologies like NFS, HDFS, Ceph, S3 as well as dynamic resource management frameworks (Mesos, Kubernetes, Yarn)

·         Experience on at least one cloud provider i.e. Azure, AWS, GCP and Oracle is desired

·         Previous experience in technical engineering

·         Must have Coding experience beyond simple scripts
