Job Roles / Responsibilities:       

SAP HCM Functional Consultant, expertise in OM, PA, Payroll, Benefits, Time Management, and third party interfaces. Required Utilities industry with 10-15 years of experience.

Job responsibilities

• Provide SAP HCM functional expertise by acting as subject matter expert and lead team through the entire systems development lifecycle
• Responsible for incidents and change management
• Work end to end on the project life cycle including fit/gap, configuration, and testing including parallel testing
• Work with the system integrators to get the SAP system configured including Quality assurance and acceptance of the deliverables by the integrator

 

What skills and qualifications are needed in order to perform the job?

 

Ability to work as a team player in matrix organization with business and IT teams Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills Experience with the full lifecycle of SAP Payroll implementations Strong analytical capabilities. Ability to perform fit/gap analysis on business processes as well as IT systems  Ability to identify and communicate process improvement opportunities Ability to design business processes from the ground up for efficiency and to align with SAP functional modules Good understanding of US Payroll, including but not limited to: W-2s, year-end processing, entire HCM/payroll cycle, processes and compliance reporting Deep understanding of integrations with third party Time/Attendance and Benefits vendors. Good understanding of US specific topics such as Garnishments, Benefits, FLSA and compliance reporting
