Role : Senior DevOps Engineer
Location : Remote for Now
Visa : USC / GC / H4EAD /L2 EAD ONLY
TYPE : C2H (After 3 Months)
Rate : $60-65/HR on c2c MAX
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
Must have experience with solid experience with Chef
Infrastructure and DevOps Automation Engineer with experience in industry standard CI/CD technologies like Chef, Habitat, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Apmate, Git/BitBucket.
Required Skills:
Experience in automating setting up Production and Non-Production environments in different data centers using Chef, Habitat.
Experience designing and implementing efficient CI/CD flows to get code from dev to prod with high quality and no manual intervention.
Experience in automating builds using Maven.
Experience setting up and administering Jenkins pipelines.
Use Jenkins to orchestrate builds as well as link to Sonar, Chef, Maven, Artifactory etc to build out CI/CD pipeline.
Design, implement and enhance lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
Work with developers to create validation scripts and perform testing and monitoring.
Strong Linux and shell scripting experience.
Advanced branching strategies experience is desirable

Splunk
Good communication skills. Comfortable working with customers to understand their requirements (whiteboard as needed) and build a rollout solution.
Ability to work with DevOps Team and Developers to streamline processes, improve automation and explain design decisions.
Knowledge of DevOps Automation best practices and how to implement them.
Experience in dealing with difficult situations and making decisions with a sense of urgency.
Experience working with Agile teams.
