Job Roles / Responsibilities:

Banking and Financial Services
Quality Engineer:
• Ability to test Restful API’s using Postman, writing API test for Restful service using RestAssured libraries
• Maintain and execute database testing by writing and passing SQL queries, ability to establish JDBC connection
• Maintain BDD framework creating and using Cucumber features, scenarios in Gherkin language and Step Definitions and execute scenarios using Cucumber tags in Runner class under Java platform
• Maintain objects using Page Object Model Design Pattern and Selenium WebDriver
• Automate test reports using Cucumber plugin, to achieve HTML reports attached with failed scenarios and reporting it with screenshots using Java
• Ability to perform functional, regression, integration, compatibility testing of web based application
• Log Defects in Rally/Jira and maintain tracking of the defects from beginning to end of the STLC
Qualification
7+ years of experience as Software Development Engineer in Test or as Automation Quality engineer
UI & API Automation tools – Strong experience in automating Web applications and REST APIs using Selenium and Cucumber
• Tools: UI and REST API automation (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven, Java or Groovy (Preferred))
Additional details
Will be working on automation framework. Candidate should be familiar with Selenium and Cucumber (3+ years). Java background. 7+ years of recent Automation experience
