Job Description:

Around 7 years of IT experience as Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst in Hadoop Big data Technologies Java ETL and BI Tools.

 - Experience working in Data Integration projects

. - Experience in Data Analysis Data Validation Data Verification and identifying data mismatch between source (any of traditional RDBMS) and Hive tables.

 - Exposure to Cloudera platform and its components

. - Understanding of Data Models Data Schema ETL and created extensive store procedures SQL queries to perform back-end data warehousing testing.

 - Exposure to CDC process sqoop and Striim. - Experience writing Hive Queries for analyzing data in Hive warehouse using Hive Query Language (HQL)

. - Experience in validating data across all layers (before data reaches PROD zone). 

- Experience in validating and analyzing Hadoop log files

. - Exposure to validate and mapping data between source and MDM.

 - Experience in Automation in any of industry acknowledged framework/tools

. - Experience in running data extract jobs in unix/linux. [Jobs were built in Springbatch/Scala]

 - Excellent interpersonal analytical skills. 

- Prepared Test Strategy that covers testing and data flow between systems.

 - Prepared Test Cases and Test Plans for the Enterprise Data Warehouses and Web Applications and executed those Test Cases and Test Plans.

 - Experienced in Functional or System testing Unit Testing Integration testing Regression testing.

 - Experienced in Defect tracking using tools like JIRA

. - Experience in working with Agile/Scrum teams and demonstrate collaborative skills across team members
