Role : AWS Data Engineer
Location : Santa Clara, CA (onsite)
Visa : GC / USC / H4EAD / GC - EAD / L2-EAD ONLY
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
Establish data model design based on business requirements. It should be hands-on.
Develop end-to-end streaming and batch data analytics pipelines, from data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis to visualization.
Understand big-data principles and best practices
Perform code reviews, ensure code quality and encourage a culture of excellence.
Coach team members in the design of database solutions/optimization/Schema design
Troubleshoot performance and optimize database design.
Be the front face of the company in front of customers and prospects.
Required Skills
6+ years of strong technical experience in the field of transactional data and analytics systems
Lead client conversations and data discovery sessions at client sites.
Should understand and be able to command architecture design for transactional and analytics systems.
Strong SQL & Python skills
Hands-on experience in building end-to-end data/orchestration pipelines using Python with AWS & Apache (open source) based products like Airflow etc.
AWS Cloud Experience - Should have experience with AWS data products like Lake Formation, Athena, Glue, S3, EMR, etc.
Should be to write APIs or Cron/Crawler jobs using a Python-based framework.
Experience in Agile Methodologies
Familiarity with source repositories (Git, BitBucket, etc.)
Excellent communication skills
Desired Experience & Certifications:
Experience with HCLS( health Care and Life Science) domain
