Role : Hadoop Admin
Location : Windsor, CT
Rate : $50-55

Job Roles / Responsibilities:
· Provide administration of Cloudera Hadoop platform on Oracle Big data appliance
· Perform health checks hardwaresoftware on the Cluster and identifyresolveprevent any cluster level issues
· Work on integration of new products to Hadoop environment as required by customer
· Work on Upgrade of Hadoop to keep the versions up to date
· Experience in DMX Query surge Cloudera Data science workbench IBM SPSS Waterline and Atscale desired
· Responsible for user security kerberos based user and project onboarding and cluster security administration
· Interact with vendors to identify and resolve cluster level issues Work with vendors of other platforms integrated with Hadoop
· Good working knowledge of Linux
· Ability to isolate performance issues on the cluster and provide recommendations on these issues
Good communication skills and ability to work with customer to fulfil their strategic big data objectives
