Job summary:
Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
• Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those
• Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
• Analyzing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
Experience 10 to 14yrs
Required Skills- MS Power BI,Power BI Report Server
Nice to have skills: Azure DW,Azure Analysis Services
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Proven experience as a Microsoft BI Developer
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI technologies
• Industry experience is preferred
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP and ETL/ELT framework
• Proven knowledge of SQL queries
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Developer is responsible for the design, development and deployment of multi-dimensional reports using the Cognos Business Intelligence solution.
Additional responsibilities include: Creating, enhancing and maintaining Framework Manager models to support business requirements.
