Job Roles / Responsibilities:
AWS
architect having application development background, and not just infra
background? Here are some of the basic requirements
• Should have worked on AWS for around 6-8 years.
• Candidate should have good AWS core services skills (EC2, EBS, Autoscaling,
RDS, S3, Glacier, VPC, Subnets, Route tables, Security Groups, Load Balancers,
IAM, Data encryption at rest and transit, Lambda, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation).
• Should have good architecture skills to build HA infra architectures.
• Should have good understanding of Hybrid cloud architecture, Route53, Account
& Access Management, DDoS mitigation, Cost optimization, basics of DNS,
DHCP, AD/LDAP, vulnerability scanning & patching.
• Should have good understanding of at least some of the services like Kinesis,
DynamoDB, RedShift, EMR, Elasticache, Batch, ECS, API Gateway, Systems Manager.
• Good to have understanding of IDS/IPS, cloud migration approaches, DevOps and
CICD automation, cloud migration tools.
