Location: Norfolk, VA
Looking for a React Native Developer (70%) - Native iOS Development (30%)
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree or technical institute training or equivalent work experience
• Strong effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• 1+ years of hands-on React Native development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on iOS development experience
• Experience in troubleshooting
• Experience consuming REST services and an understanding of Swagger specifications
• Expert level Swift development skills
• Understanding of security concerns and mitigation strategies when developing mobile applications
• XCode and interface builder
• Experience overseeing team members
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Great understanding of builds, software development and GIT
• Experience working with multi-vendor teams in an agile environment
Responsibilities:
• Own the technical delivery of application features in iOS Native & React Native.
• Develop and refine the technical architecture used by client development teams.
• Develop and maintain complex components of information systems.
• Create and perform unit tests, as well as resolve and retest any defects identified.
• Develop and perform system testing and fix defects identified during testing and re-execute unit tests to validate results.
• Coach and mentor team members on iOS(Swift) and RN development best practices.
• Define and enforce application coding standards and best practices.
The most successful candidates will also have experience in the following:
• Gitflow
• Atlassian products – BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence etc
