Role: System Engineer / System Automation Engineer

Location: Bedford, MA

Must-Have Technical Skills:

·         Have 5 years of experience with Microsoft stack and working with Windows Servers (2016, 2019)

·         Have 2 years of experience in Wonderware System Platform 2017, and any other PLC/SCADA systems. Candidate must know to troubleshoot and fix bugs

·         Working experience with PowerShell is a plus, and other scripting languages (like JavaScript, Python, and others).

·         System architects/designing and implementing short and long-term strategic goals for managing and maintaining systems, especially in a biopharmaceutical environment.

·         Having experience in project management skills (Agile methodology)

Minimum Technical Skills:

·         Have 8+ years of experience as a System Automation Engineer in product development of complex IT and OT systems.

·         Experience in coordinating multiple internal stakeholders and manage the expectation.

·         Strong leadership and result-oriented approach, led by example and work on complex issues.

·         Technical ability to handle and debug automated systems including PLC (ex: Wago / Allen Bradley /Siemens) and SCADA (ex: Wonderware System Platform 2017).

·         Have 5 years of experience of Microsoft stack and working with Windows Servers (2016, 2019) along with Server configurations including network, Security, Policies, firewall, etc.

·         Working experience with virtualization technology (VMware / Hyper-V).

·         Experience in the Life Sciences industry and with existing regulations (e.g. 21CFR P11); development guidelines (e.g. GAMP5); computer validation practices (e.g. CSV) is a plus

·         Understanding and hands-on experience in handling Industrial field buses and communication protocol like OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, etc.

·         System development support and commissioning experience in industrial if possible, biopharmaceutical environment.

·         Hands-on experience in building Embedded Systems with hardware components.

·         Proficient in English and have very good communication skills.
