Network Engineer/Architect

Job Location: Twinsburg, OH

Long term

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

 

High-level Juniper expertise

Data Center switching

Basic routing knowledge

Familiarity with Security appliances and intermediate security knowledge is preferred.

New technology development and testing.

Develop complex Data Center, Core WAN, and DMZ topology projects.

Perform capacity planning analysis of data center and core WAN infrastructure.

Work with team on project budgeting.

Provide valuable input to team designs.

Develop new network standards

Maintain complete technical knowledge of network.

Provide project status to management team.

Self-driven control of technical/educational growth.

Build and provide base knowledge transfer to Tier 1 and 2 Operations teams

 

JOB DUTIES:

 

Engineers will be required to engineer, implement, and provide escalation support of data center infrastructure (Firewalls/Routers/Switches) across multiple locations (including international). Develop automation to allow for scalable deployment of infrastructure over time.

 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelors Degree and/or 6+ years of high-level Juniper experience. Professional-level Juniper certifications preferred.

 

LOGISTICS:

Shift: Standard 9-5. On-call support requirement. Some operational support may be needed on weekends.
