DevOps with open shift
Location: 100% remote
Duration: Long term
Responsibilities:
- Evangelize adoption of Containers and OpenShift by working with application teams on overall container strategy
- Perform application assessments and determine migration feasibility to containers
- Maintain a pipeline of applications that will onboard into the Container as a Service platform
- Assist in development of container operating and governance models
- Build and maintain a Container as a Service website that includes training material, self-service onboarding, adoption timelines and documentation for best practices, use cases, path to production, etc.
- Develop a self-service model to allow application teams and developers to gain access to the OpenShift development environments
- Work with cyber security to define container security, risk and compliance models
- Develop a DevSecOps Automation Design strategy that includes CI/CD processes and pipeline blueprints
- Develop training materials for applications teams and developer to leverage in their application modernization journey
- Partner with other groups including Middleware and Storage on the adoption of containers for their respective platforms.
- Maintain a dashboard and reports outlining overall progress of application modernization and container adoption on OpenShift
