Position : Senior Azure Data Engineer

Client : Campbell Soup

Location: Camden, NJ (position requires working on-site for 3 days’ per week during “workshop week” – they do monthly workshops so candidate must be within 1-2 hour drive max)

 

Apex Systems is looking for a Senior Azure Data Engineer who has hands-on Databricks Development implementation experience. Our client is beginning their journey into Databricks implementation and looking for a strong resource to help support this project. Candidate should have strong SQL experience and strong Databricks experience.

 

-              Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.

-              8-10+ years of Data Warehouse/Data Engineer experience.

-              8-10+ years of relational database experience (for example SQL Server & Oracle)

-              Expert level SQL experience including some experience with either Pyspark or SparkQL

-              Must have 2-3+ years of Azure Databricks experience with strong preference of implementation of Databricks strongly desired.

-              2+ years of Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory (ADF)

-              3+ years of Azure Cloud experience.

-              Experience in Data Modeling and Advanced SQL techniques

-              Experience with Azure Data Lake and Big Data Analytics

-              Experience with Python is strongly desired.
