Favored PHP Frameworks?

All, I'm contemplating modernizing an old script of mine which given an existing MySQL table name, provides the full CRUD function set, for interactive user operation, sans any code addition.  (Clearly, it's intended for moderate-to-low usage environment.)

I wonder whether there's any favored frameworks here.  Since I myself haven't used any, there's no prior experience I could take advantage of, so I doubt right now that using one might provide any benefits, except of course in any future work.

There are a ton of PHP frameworks out there now. Perhaps the most widely adopted is Symfony, with others like Cake, Yii, ZendFramework, Aura, etc providing an incredible amount of functionality in a community supported fashion.

You might want to look at each, look over the documentation and code examples and determine for yourself which is the best for your use case.
