hi

I am currently evaluating several ways to setup a "on premises" OpenId provider.

Could we get the main steps for this setup?

thanks and best regards

Hello,

I am not sure at which point you are asking this question.
What have you done so far?

1st you need to install privacyidea.
There are several ways to do this, this depends on your needs and your taste.

You might take the ready made ubuntu packages
(https://www.privacyidea.org/how-to-install-privacyidea-otp-server-on-ubuntu-14-04/)
or you can install it using PIP on any other system also using the latest python modules.

You can then authenticate with the URL like this
    https://server/openid/id/<user>

Unfortunately there is no step by step guide, but I am happy to respond to more specific questions.

Kind regards
Cornelius
