Hello Cornelius
Currently it seems that there's no option for a user(in user scope) to modify its own token's description. There's no such option to enable that in user scope policy.
Is it expected to always be that and why?
It'd be handy if a user could tag one(software token on a PC) token and another(Google Authenticator mobile token) token differently..

It is just not implemented this way.
Setting hashes, sync windows, countauth ... and also the description are functions limited to the administrators.

Why? Hm, since the user never was supposed to fiddle with the tokens that much.

Kind regards
Cornelius

Ok, thank you for the explanation.
I just supposed it'd be handy for users to differentiate his tokens using description field
