Hello all,
The proposal to update the PRIF governance document to update the full Committee vote threshold has reached candidacy for acceptance. This proposal addresses issue #136.  The associated PR #164, which provides the necessary edits to the governance document, has 4 approvals from PRIF Committee members, and an approval from the Community Lead, who is the author of the PR. The next step is to vote to adopt these edits. Please reference PR #164 to review the changes to be adopted, if passed.

This email begins the vote to adopt the edits expressed in PR #164. The changes must receive approval from 50% of votes (excluding explicit abstentions) to be ratified. Only PRIF Committee members may vote and the options are Yes, No, or Abstain. This vote will remain open until 11 AM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, July 1, or until all PRIF Committee members register their vote or abstention, whichever occurs first. In order to register your vote, please reply all to this email and state your vote. If voting against, then your vote must include comments that explain your rationale. If the vote passes, the PR will rebased onto main before merging.

Thank you for your time,
