Dear support members,
I am facing a problem on PreText. I started writing a document and I find that whenever I add something new, the code is not being saved an the old version of file is on the web view. How to fix this problem ?
Thanks

Can you share a little more about what process you are using?  If you are following the Getting Started Tutorial, are you doing the deploy step: Subsection 2.2.6: Deploy?

No. I am using the preview feature. Ctrl + alt + p and then web view. It's not showing the updated write up.

And I suppose, also you should make sure you have saved the changes in your editor.  There will be a solid dot in the tab if it is unsaved.

I don't understand what you mean by this. 😅

I will need some more information about what your setup is to help.  If you have a project on GitHub, if you share the link and I take a look.  Or you could come to one of the zoom dropins and we can try to figure it out together.  The next dropin is Monday morning.

It looks like you haven't yet committed and synced your changes to the repository.  Follow these directions: Subsection 2.2.4: Saving your work.  When you go to the repository, you should then see all the files you have been working listed there.

This might or might not solve the issue you have been having, but it will at least let me look at your files, and you could then create a new codespace and *that* might solve the issue.

Thanks for your help but I am not able to do the stuff. Is it okay if we do a zoom call and then figure it out ?
Update : Just today as I restarted my computer a few changes showed up in the output web view but not all.

There is a two-hour zoom session this morning beginning at 11am EDT here:  https://prose.runestone.academy/dropin.  There will be people there who can help.
