Hi Prairie Cycle Club members

 

I’m trying to find 1 – 3 (or more) folks who would be interested in an international biking trip:  The trip travels on the famous spiritual road called the Camino De Santiago in Spain/Portugal. (e-bike or regular bike, and you can bike as much as you like or skip a day and take the van and spend the day at a spa! ). I’m interested in a Backroads trip, either May 31 or June 7 trip -it’s 6 days.  You stay at castles and beautiful hotels.  It’s pricey –but sounds worth it.  My friend Kelly Bradham took the trip and said this company was amazing, so it comes highly recommended.

Hi.. New member here..

I am interested but 5K plus flight tkts for a week seems a little bit too pricey. I was looking at alternatives but got sidetracked due to work and other obligations. If there are no other alternatives, i am good with paying up.

The best time for me is the May 31 – June 5. The price is $4,899 - $5349/person.   You can ride regular or e-bikes.

The company requires to have at least 4 riders to confirm the trip, so basically,  I’m trying to find 3 people minimum, to make it a go on these dates.  Then we can figure out the details later.

Called and spoke to them. Asked prices for 2026 April/May and Sept/Oct timeframe. Shared rooms with 2 beds (she said rooms are available with 3, 1 being a foldaway bed which is uncomfortable), and single beds. Bikes are included. Asked more info about electric bikes. I used to run before w/ and w/o second wind but had to stop due to knee issues. No 40km/50km cycling experience (yet).
