Happy 4th of July All.

So where and when is the start of the July 4 Ride?  Tradition says the parking lot of the Goodwill Store corner of Curtis and Neil St in Savoy.  I see an alternative suggested.

Again 8 am is tractional.  And later is not good.

I will look for an answer to these questions.  Sue Jones are you the Leader??

As I stated last week, I'm *not* going to juggle -- it's a holiday! -- and am going to set up my bike blender and join Champaign County Bikes in the parade, near the assembly hall (Charlie says they haven't said where yet); parade starts at 11:05 so I'll wander over a bit earlier... it's not like we have to figure out floats or anything ;)    
     I'm thinking that our esteemed public officials and lots of general public are still very, very "car culture" and this is a little thing I can do to represent other options. There are so many reasons to make the culture shift :)

Folks,

Champaign County Bikes is in position 66 of 85 so three-quarters of the way back. We clearly won't be moving out of the parking lot at 11:05 so for those who just want to jump in "late" there should be a bit of extra time for this. We will be setting up at 10:45, should have some extra decoration materials on hand, and we'll have one of our large trailers so we'll be trying to bring some umbrellas and such.
