Position : Linux and Netapps Admin

Location : Atlanta, GA

Type : Contract

Job Description:

Roles & responsibilities:

• Perform support server patching and remediation of any vulnerabilities identified for servers

• Support the decommissioning activities for servers.

• Install, configure, operate, support, and maintain in-scope servers / systems, virtualization (ESX/VMWare), and associated components following standards defined via the Service Request Process, and manage the operating system file systems including:

• Creating, Maintaining and Deleting volumes and directory structures

• Modifying file system sizes

• Verifying mount point availability

• Repairing defective file systems

• Modifying file system permissions

• Monitor and reduce operating system log files to prevent file systems from overfilling

• Manage operating system processes including:

o refreshing processes;

o establishing start up sequences;

o maintaining system clock synchronization; and

o changing process priorities

• Troubleshooting, monitoring and configuring backups
