Job Description/Responsibilities :
- Mainframe Storage admin & ISPW Admin –
- Extremely familiar with IBM z/OS operating system
- Knowledge on Parallel Sysplex concepts
- Experience mainframe LPAR builds
- Implement DFSMS
- Develop and maintain ACS routines
- Support DFSMSdss data movement, dump and restores of DASD volume
- Implement automatic backup and migration (DFSMShsm)
- Expertise in managing catalogs
- Implement and support advanced copy services like PPRC, XRC, Flashcopy
- Familiar on EMC storage, Data Domain, DLM areas - Installing and configuring additional physical storage
- Experience in migrating from EMC to IBM storage
- DR support
- Maintain storage HW components
- MF Storage with (CA DISK, CA DAC, CA Vantage ) ISPW Administrator
- Extremely familiar with IBM z/OS operating system
- Knowledge on Parallel Sysplex concepts - Experience mainframe LPAR builds
- Installation of patches and fixes
- Installation and maintenance of ISV products –
- System parameters/parmlib maintenance
- ISPW administration & customization
- TOPAZ installation & customization
- Compuware suite of product installation, maintenance & customization
Mandatory Skills: - Technical Skills - z/OS, Parallel Sysplex, SMPE, RMF, SMF, WLM, Understanding of System z architecture, TOPAZ, ISPW Mandatory Skills: - Technical Skills - z/OS, Parallel Sysplex, DFSMS, DFSMShsm, Metro mirror, GDPS, Flashcopy, DD, DLM, MF Storage with CA DISK, CA DAC, CA Vantage
