Position : Scrum Master with Infra

Location : Deerfield, IL, United States

Type : Contract

Job Description/Responsibilities :

• Lead 2 or more concurrent teams as Agile Lead - manage and facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, retrospective meetings and proactively resolve blocking issues as required.
• In conjunction with the product owner, proactively manage the backlog of stories, tasks, and defects.
• Mentor teams on Agile methodologies and foundational values and principles.
• Help lead quarterly planning increments across all work and functional areas.
• Manage, document, and track development team progress and metrics; ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, product managers, product owners, software engineers, and infrastructure team members.
• Act as a catalyst to achieve successful product releases and project completion.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the Agile Lead for infrastructure, data center cloud transformation, software development teams diligently applying Scrum principles and practices.
• Thorough understanding of multiple SDLC methodologies, with an emphasis on Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Proven experience with widely practiced Agile techniques, including: Release Planning, User Stories, Backlog Management, Sizing & Estimation, Continuous Integration.
• Ability to assess the Scrum maturity of the team and to advise how to reach higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams in a remote work environment.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• One or more relevant certifications desired: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional. (CSP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified SAFe Agilist
