What you’ll do:

• Design and develop scripts, playbooks and supporting tools/applications for implementing tracing, monitoring, tooling solutions to maximize the performance and availability of our Web applications. 
• Manage the continuous integration / continuous delivery environment.
• Provide recommendations by quickly assessing and remediating complex platform availability issues. 
• Collaborate with different teams and platforms across the organization and create and environment of knowledge sharing. 
• Promote a culture of Operational Excellence, by monitoring application metrics and performance while developing ways to continuously improve. 
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and colleagues on development and operations best practices. 
• Identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of software/system engineering hands-on experience supporting end-to-end release cycles.
• Knowledge of developing trends and emerging standards in multiple tech stacks.
• Strong hands-on experience on DevOps technologies and best practices: continuous integration, continuous delivery, etc.
• 3+ years of hands on experience on configuring Splunk dashboards, Alerts setup
• 3+ years of experience with scripting, automation and configuration management.
• Experience in building, running and scaling micro-services using Kubernetes, Istio, Docker, monitoring tools like (Prometheus, DataDog, New Relic etc.) etc. is strongly preferred
• Experience with architecting multi-vendor IaaS, SaaS, or PaaS environments particular public or hybrid Cloud (AWS/Azure/RedHat).
• You have experience in fostering a strong engineering culture in an agile environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
