Job Title: Frontend Developer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Client is looking for front end engineers - React - Node,js for long term contract The ideal candidate is a well-rounded developer experienced in frontend web development. Responsibilities:
Collaborate and innovate with Product, Design, Data Science and other engineering teams to deliver a seamless, consistent and engaging user experience for millions of passionate students
Design, develop and deliver features and reusable components with cross-browser and –device compatibility, accessibility and search engine optimization
Participate in lean and agile development process in a test- and monitoring-driven environment, from planning, scoping, estimation all the way to optimization, maintenance and support
Deliver implementation that is as simple as it gets, with an automated unit and user acceptance tests that enable continuous integration and delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience
5+ years’ experience building customer facing web applications
Proficient in writing web application with accessibility, performance, and reusability in mind
Proficient in DOM, CSS3, HTML5, AJAX, RESTful API and JavaScript libraries, including React/Redux and NodeJS (with TypeScript is a big plus)
Strong problem solving, analytical and object-oriented programming skills
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Experience in developing automated unit and functional tests Experience in agile -development process
Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
Have a passion for quality and writing clean, readable code that scales and performs well
Good interpersonal communication skills
