Hello Racers! A friend I've known for 25 years called me and asked if
my "Power Wheels Cars" would be willing to put on a half-time show at
this motorcycle event he puts on each year. The date would be Friday,
March 13, 2020 and we'd be on in the evening, around 8:30pm.
We're not totally sure what it would look like yet, but that's for
people who want to do this to decide. Drag race? No fuses? Ramps and
flames? Basically, it would be a weird thing that motorcycle people haven't seen before, a new audience for our craziness.
And yeah, it's in Milwaukee, so teams who can drive here, I'm looking at you. Travel stipends might also be possible. Teams from Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago, Michigan, interested? (All others are welcome as well, but this is not a full race weekend, though he said we could get more track time if people come early. And yes, they spill Dr. Pepper all over the floor.)
Sponsors for the event include Harley-Davidson and Monster Energy Drink. Supposedly 2.5 million people have tuned in to watch the live stream for at least three seconds. (Is that good? I have no idea.)
