If PHS does become stuck for somewhere new and time runs out on the existing place... then you're always free to use the same space that the LUG uses (see the photo of it in the link below)...
https://staffslug.org.uk/events/#Workshops
All the non-profit uses of that room (there have been a few, not just the LUG) have been managed/granted by functionoffice.org for a while. IC still pays the rent (and their lease on the room with Keele is until August 2024, which will likely be renewed) so we get it for free... and IC aren't likely to repurpose it due to how it is still used as a 'Workplace Recovery Suite' should any of their customers (who pay for that product) invoke its use (which is very very rare... to the point of barely ever).
It wouldn't be completely ideal however as there is no room for large projects and little storage (certainly no basement or room for floor standing things). So I'd imagine the vast amount of stuff would have to go into storage elsewhere until you found a more permanent home. But there is certainly enough room for several plastic storage boxes (e.g. the ones for PHS members) and desk space for smaller projects... soldering irons, that kind of thing. As long as the place is tidy by the end.
It's a backup if you need it anyway :)
On another matter... can anyone remember which company PHS used to get their leaflets printed?
I've currently got my head in Inkscape (sitting in that very room
I just described) helping the LUG, ORG
Stoke, and FSFE
Potteries to make leaflets for them.

Thoughts on storage?
Honestly I don't know, just that there wouldn't be much room in
the CoCoLab (the Keele Community Computer Lab... that's what were
calling it these days when it's being used in it's "non-profit
multi-purpose sense", a website is planned soonish about it). I'd
say maybe a dozen of those 85 litre-ish sizes storage boxes could
go on top of the cupboards... and maybe... (if I can get IC to
clear a few dead UPS's/batteries out of the way) **maybe**...
another dozen on the floor at the back of the room. So it'd only
work for small desk-sized projects really.
Perhaps Keele would rent you an empty room in one of the IC
buildings (plenty of them empty) for the extra big stuff? At
least that way I could easily sort out another free Internet
connection for PHS :)
Only other storage I've ever used is Bigfoot over on the A34, you can get a sizeable amount of storage for about £1000 for 6 months... and at least it's alarmed, indoors, and only open certain hours (and I think actively monitored out of hours).
You can get much much cheaper than that though if you're just
looking for storage which is an outdoor metal box essentially and
limited security.
