I'll be your PRO for tomorrow. It's looking like a fine day for a boat ride, wind mostly from the North at 11-12 kts with gusts up to 25.
However, two things need to happen for us to race. First, we need one more person on RC to run a safe race. Second, fleets need to show up. I know many of the Albacores are taking the day off after sailing 5 days in heavy winds and strong current at our Internationals and if we don't have at least 5 boats (total of all fleets) we will likely cancel.
My risk assessment for the day is moderately high. Right now, we have a small craft advisory in effect. In addition, the water is getting a bit cooler, with the WASD2 buoy is reporting 65 degrees. While the forecast air temp of 77 helps, I recommend dressing for a wet day.
High tide is at 7:36 and low tide is at 2:07.
See you tomorrow!
Mike
