Postbox 7.062

This update just happened today, Again, autoupdate didn't show it. I spoke too soon on leaving group, as I received a reply yesterday from Postbox on my question of support. They replied, telling me there had been some issues between Postbox and Google that had prevented them from doing new releases but that now, whatever the issues were, releases will be more forthcoming. We will see...

I have the impression that the option to edit a received email has disappeared in 7.062. Now i can not edit reminders and received emails. Do you have the same? This was one of the best options in Postbox.

Yes, this is gone since the update. I mostly used the function to edit a subject line to make it easier to find later on.
Why would they eliminate this???

Update 7.0.64 has been out for some time, but auto-update still does not work.

And of cours no hint that a native version for Apple chips will ever come out.

Some people on the web claim that Postbox is dead, and I fear that this might be the case pretty soon.

In email exchange with Postbox, I learned that not all minor version upgrades go out with auto-update.

I got 7.063 as an auto update.

Does this make any sense? What is the point in releasing an update and hiding it?

The rationale given was:

We do not always turn on auto-update. For some fixes, we prefer to push a limited release to the downloads page only. This allows us to watch the fix in the wild to ensure everything goes smoothly before pushing it out to hundreds of thousands of people.

And shortly after posting that message, I was prompted to update to 7.0.64.
