Awake My Soul documentary. PoSH outing in the works.

For those interested in seeing the documentary film Awake My Soul 2025 ed showing this next week at the Liberty Theater in Camus WA.

There was a discussion on which showing(s) singers were planning to attend at our recent PoSH business meeting. It looks like there will be a substantial number of us showing up for the Wednesday 5:40pm showing (8-12-26). If it seems appropriate and cool with the Liberty Theater staff, we may sing a few tunes immediately following the show. Bring your Sacred Harp (2025 ed) book. We'll have a good time! Also, some of us plan to slide over to the nearby restaurant/brewery Grains of Wrath (230 NE 5th Ave in Camus, WA). I hope to see you there!!

If you'd like to see it TWICE or can't make it on Wednesday, there is also a showing on Sunday at 2;25pm  (8-9-26).

Reminder!   Tomorrow evening!   With rush-hour traffic will need to allot ~45 mins travel time.

Unfortunately, there will not be time for PoSH singing in the theater following the film. I contacted the Liberty Theater manager. While he appreciates our attendance, there is quick-turnaround for cleaning and re-seating before the next film, leaving insufficient time for a post-film singing demo.

We will still plan to meet up directly following, at the Grains of Wrath Brewery/Restaurant 230 NE 5^th Ave one block west of the theater.
