call for housing for Double All Day!

Hi wonderful POSH-ers,

I'm chairing Housing for our upcoming Double All Day! I thank you in advance for your generosity in sharing your beds and couches with out-of-town guests who'd like to be hosted.

It would be tremendously helpful if you'd email me if you're willing to host. In particular, could you share:

• Number of sleeping spaces available
• Whether your home has pets
• Whether you are able to transport guests to/from the Laurelhurst club if they need transportation
• Any restrictions on number of nights you're able to host

Thanks in advance! I really appreciate having this info by email, as I'm liable to forget if you just mention it to me in person.

I will probably have Laura McMurray, and I only have capacity to house one guest at this time so that makes me full  up.

Hi Dorothy,

Thank you for reaching out. As far as I know now, I will be able to host. I have one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and one with a double bed, each with a private bathroom. So depending on sleeping arrangements, we could accommodate up to 4 people.

I'm not sure about the transportation since I would want to be available to drive Cornelia. 

The only wrinkle is the possibility that if some emergency happens with my mother-in-law in Iowa, I might have to cancel and jet off. She just transferred to assisted living so we're hoping that that won't happen!

We have 2 cats so anyone with  cat allergy shouldn't stay with us. Also, we ask that anyone staying with us be agreeable with taking his/her shoes off inside.

Finally, one bedroom is on the main floor. One is down a flight of stairs to the finished basement. There are approximately 8-9 steps outside to get into our steps and we have handrails.
