Hi Woonghee,

I have a question how I can describe non-standard amino acid in the sequence file.
My peptide has PCA (pyroglutamate) at the N-terminal end.
When I submit the sequence file with 3-letter code, PONDEROSA ignores the first residue.
The same file can be read in CYANA2.1 installed in our local linux machine.
Could you give me how I should write the N-terminal residue?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Hi Shinya,

You should stick with standard sequence until you collect enough restraints to fold the structure first. Then, you can operate Xplor-NIH with them and you use non standard sequence at that point.

Best,
Woonghee
