Install Polymer in Windows 8

hi im new to polymer and want to learn it, just want to know how to install polymer im using windows 8

i also installed nodejs to install bower the only thing is i dont know where to input the command "bower install --save Polymer/polymer" will i input it using nodejs cmd prompt?

also did some bower init cmd, not sure if i did right. http://i.gyazo.com/840062469cc8a9d6279dcc411f6cbcea.png

please correct me if im wrong and what i need to do

ok im done installing polymer using git bash, just one more question will the command that i made in nodejs will affect my polymer files? im talking about this one http://i.gyazo.com/840062469cc8a9d6279dcc411f6cbcea.png ??

bower init (http://bower.io/docs/creating-packages/) is for creating a bower.json

for your own app/project. When you run `bower install --save Polymer/polymer`, it will add polymer in your bower.json as dependency for your project.
